The best way to get you kids/man to eat greens

With bacon, of course!

This recipe is beyond amazing, and such a great way to get your kids and man to eat a little extra greens.

ingredients:

1 bag frozen peas (defrost)

4 strips of bacon (chopped)

1 fennel (chopped)

1/2 sweet onion (chopped)

1 tsp garlic

1/2 tsp pepper

Directions:

  1. put finely chopped bacon into pan and start to brown.
  2. add onion and fennel
  3. cook on medium high heat for five minutes or until all items in pan brown.
  4. add defrosted peas, garlic, and pepper and cook on medium high heat for three more mminutes.
  5. serve and enjoy!

  1. Question!! My husband is a meat and potatoes heartier meal kind of man. I could survive off of vegatables alone. Right now, I’m making two meals every night for each of us. How do you make meals that satisfy his hunger but actually are meals you like to eat?

    1. Hey there! I’m so sorry for the late reply. One way you could please the both of your appetite is make the vegetable the main dish, and the meat as a side dish. For example, make an itricate salad that has all of your MACRO nutrients in it, and have rotissarie chicken as an option to put inside of it. Or a pasta with a spinach, basil, and pea pesto and chicken to go on top.
